A weather-tight roof for a rural cottage

Exposed weather had loosened ridge tiles and damaged several slates on a cottage near the moors. We made the roof safe, matched replacement slate and renewed the vulnerable ridge section, then checked gutters and valleys while access was in place. The repair preserved the existing roof rather than replacing it early.
